   Hallo, oder Hello,

   I found your page by accident while looking for people with experience building the New Style 3 house with Gussek, since we’re about to build the same house (with a few changes of course).

   The more I read, the more interesting it got. 1st, you’re the only people I’ve found building that house. 2nd, my wife is German, and I’m American (not Scottish, but also 36), so its all quite a cool coincidence.

   We’re building in Bayern (45min from Regensburg & Nuernberg), also on an Eckgrundstuck that faces south, and this seems like a great house design for it. We’ve also changed the upstairs like you guys did, with the bath and bedroom on the south east and south west sides, and we’re considering putting an ankleidzimmer in lieu of the luftraum.

   Anyways, we have tons of questions about your experiences and of course any advice (what to lookout for in contracts, bemustering, nebenkosten so far, etc…). Looks like you guys are building a really beautuful house, and I can’t wait to see how it turns out.

   Hey Adam, thanks for getting in touch.

   A small world indeed, and a huge amount of coincidences! I’m not 36 anymore though, just had my birthday a while back.

   We’d be glad to give you some food for thought on how its been for us, we can safely say its been a good experience so far. In fact theres only been one issue where we weren’t (aren’t) happy, but I can give you more details on that via email.
